TEATRO NUEVO APOLO - Madrid (Madrid)
ONE OF THE GREATEST MUSICALS EVER CREATED
ATG Entertainment presents Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed production of Les Misérables, the musical phenomenon by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg.
This breathtaking staging—praised as one of the greatest musicals in history and a worldwide triumph—will arrive at the Teatro Apolo in Madrid in November 2025.
Victor Hugo’s classic tale is a powerful story of shattered dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice, and redemption—a timeless testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
Les Misérables follows the journey of Jean Valjean, a former convict seeking redemption after his release from prison. Relentlessly pursued by Inspector Javert, Valjean rebuilds his life while caring for Cosette, the daughter of Fantine, a woman broken by poverty.
Set in post-revolutionary France, the fates of Valjean, Cosette, and others intertwine with the uprising of young idealists at the barricades. The show explores themes of justice, sacrifice, and hope, brought to life by Boublil and Schönberg’s magnificent score, featuring iconic songs like "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Bring Him Home," "Do You Hear The People Sing?," "One Day More", and many more.
Winner of over 180 international awards, including 8 TONY Awards (Best Musical among them), 4 Olivier Awards, and 5 Drama Desk Awards, this epic masterpiece has been seen by more than 130 million people in 53 countries and performed in 22 languages, making it one of the most beloved musicals in the world.
